Emmys clash of the comics

James Corden is to go up against John Oliver and Jerry Seinfeld for an Emmy Award.

Corden’s Late Late Show has been nominated alongside Oliver’s Last Week Tonight and Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee for the outstanding variety series.

Making up the shortlist are Jimmy Kimmel Live, Real Time With Bill Maher and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
