Please Like Me
Sticking down under, earlier this week we reported how Australian comedian Josh Thomas's awkward coming-of-age comedy-drama had been commissioned for a fourth series down under – but that it wasn’t available in the UK. Well, now it is - after Amazon Prime Video snapped up the rights to the first three seasons, and made them available from yesterday. The series has scooped armfuls of awards and attracted praise for the ‘charming’ way it deals with its storyline of a shy youngster coming to terms with his sexuality. 2016: Year Friend
Episode six of the offbeat online series written and performed by cutting-edge comics Al Roberts, Ellie White, Jamie Demetriou, Daran Johnson, Liam Williams and Natasia Demetriou has landed this week. It’s a hard to describe the whole series since every episode has a different vibe. Though nominally a sketch show, the June episode more like an exaggerated sitcom, based around a trip to Stonehenge for a druid ceremony. Katy Wix and Tim Key make guest appearances.
