See Rachel & Monica's apartment... for £24

FriendsFest, the interactive exhibition dedicated to the US sitcom, is to make a UK tour.

Around 250,000 fans applied for the 5,000 tickets when the event was staged in London last year, selling out within 15 minutes. Now a bigger version will embark on a six-week tour this autumn.

However while the original tickets were priced £5 – the new ‘enhanced’ tour has ramped up the price to £24.

The event features sets from the sitcom, including Monica and Rachel’s apartment; Central Perk, which is a working cafe, and Joey and Chandler’s apartment, where you can play ‘fussball’

Also recreated are Monica’s Moon Dance Diner, Joey’s sand mermaid and the Vegas Chapel of Love where Ross and Rachel tied the knot. There is also a 80s Silent Disco a swell as food stalls and a cocktail bar.

The event is being staged by Comedy Central in association with Luna Cinema.

The broadcaster’s managing director Jill Offman, said: ‘Friends remains one of Comedy Central’s most popular shows, with over 5.5 million people tuning in to watch it each month. Thousands of fans have been contacting us all year begging us to bring FriendsFest back.’
