Producers launch global competition

One Family Guy fan is to be immortalised as an animated character in the show.

The winner of a newly launched prize draw will attend a table read with the cast and work with animators on the cartoon version of themselves.

Flights to Los Angeles and a hotel are included, as are two tickets to watch creator Seth Macfarlane sing at a jazz gig and meet him backstage.

Entry to the draw costs between $10 (£7) and $100, with more expensive tickets offering more chances to win. Money raised goes to climate change charity 350.org.

The competition is open to fans worldwide, except in certain nations including Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Syria … or more surprisingly in Belgium or Italy.
