Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally announce UK gig
Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally are coming to the UK and Ireland with a variety show promising to expose the ‘salacious details’ of their marriage.
Offerman, best known as Ron Swanson in Parks and Recreation, married Mullally – Karen from Will and Grace – in 2003.
Their show: Summer Of 69: No Apostrophe is an ode to their sexual relationship, and is described as ‘featuring songs, funny talking, heavy ribaldry, light petting and an astonishing final act of completion.’
It has previously toured America, and will now be coming to the Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith on September 3 and the Olympia Theatre, Dublin, on September 6.
The couple previously played divorcees onsParks and Rec, with Mullally making several guest appearances as Swanson’s ex, Tammy Two
Mullally, who was in Sky 1’s You, Me and the Apocalypse will next be seen in the comedy movie Why Him?, alongside Bryan Cranston and James Franco this Christmas.
While Offerman will star alongside Michael Keaton in The Founder, about the origins of the McDonald’s burger chain, which will be released on August 5. In October, he will release his third book, called Good Clean Fun, about his love of woodwork.
