Bill Burr announces UK dates

Including a night at the Edinburgh Fringe

Bill Burr is to return to the UK for the first time in three years, Chortle can reveal.

The comic is to announce four nights across the country this summer, including a night at the Pleasance Grand during the Edinburgh Fringe.

Other shows will be at Bristol’s Colston Hall on August 3; the Manchester Apollo the following night at the Hammersmith Apollo on the 5th. The Fringe date is August 8.

It follows him selling out New York’s Madison Square Garden in November, at the end of a year that saw his first tour of theatres in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and Mumbai.

As well as his stand-up, Burr played Kuby on Breaking Bad and has appeared in the Paul Feig film The Heat, alongside Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy, and in the Al Pacino and Christopher Walken film Stand Up Guys. He also has a popular podcast, the Monday Morning Podcast.

Tickets for the UK shows go on sale at 10am on Friday.
