Joe Lycett tests out new talk show
Joe Lycett is testing out a new celebrity chat show.
Joe Lycett's Therapy is being developed by Hat Trick, the producers of Have I Got News For You and Room 101.
They are organising a run-through of the format in front of a live audience London next month.
However there is no guarantee of the show being picked up by a broadcaster. Two years ago, Lycett piloted another format, Junk, in which comedians competed to win tat donated by the audience, but it was never aired.
Lycett won the 2009 Chortle Student Comedy Award, and was nominated for best newcomer at the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe. His TV appearances include Live At The Apollo, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Celebrity Juice and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
He is the host of Radio 4's It's Not What You Know, and as we reported in March, he has landed a deal publish his first book, Parsnips: Buttered, in which he tackles minor social outrages.
Free tickets for Joe Lycett's Therapy, at the RADA Studios on June 1, are available on the Hat Trick website.
