'Abbey' star fronts E4's new comedy-horror

E4 has commissioned six episodes from Howard Overman in a joint deal with Netflix, which will stream the series globally following E4’s UK premiere.

Piers Wenger, Channel 4’s head of drama said: ‘Howard has been responsible for defining drama on E4 and with Crazy Face he’s proved himself to be on thrilling, anarchic and utterly rude form.  We are delighted to welcome him back to the channel.’

Filming on Crazy Face  starts in Bristol this week; and the series also stars Riann Steele as Amy’s best friend Suzanne, Lewis Reeves as her workmate-with-a-crush Jake; Arinze Kene as Raquel’s level-headed older brother Tyler, and Tony Curran   as the sinister Callum.
