Work starts on Catastrophe series 3
Rob Delaney and Sharon Horgan have revealed that they have started work on a possible third series of Catastrophe.
Horgan said they had just starting putting ideas together for another run of the multi-award-winning show, although no commission has been announced.
She told trade paper Broadcast: ‘We’ve got more writing planned for the future. At the moment we’re trying to come up with a series three – we’re back in the office tomorrow.’
Horgan was speaking at the Bafta Television Craft Awards on Sunday night, where she and Delaney won the award for best comedy writer.
She added: ‘There’s something about sitting in a dark room for four months of the year and struggling to come up with something. When you’re acting, you get the reward immediately but when you’re writing it’s a long time before you see it come to life.’
