On Sunday the special will be repeated at 5.30pm, followed by the final three episodes in the  first series of Dinnerladies.

Meanwhile Sheridan Smith paid tribute to Wood on the West End stage last night, at the opening of her new show Funny Girl.

After taking a standing ovation, she said: 'Victoria was one of my idols... She was ridiculously talented so it's a massive loss. She had the ability to make you laugh and break your heart, within a second.'
