Second series for Perkins, Osman and Widdicombe

BBC Two has ordered a second series of its comedy panel show Insert Name Here.

Sue Perkins, Richard Osman and Josh Widdicombe will all return for six new half-hour episodes, made by 12 Yard Scotland and Black Dog Television.

Each episode is built around one particular name and the numerous people, past and present, who have shared it.

Series one averaged an audience of 1million viewers per episode.

Perkins said: ‘ I’m absolutely delighted to be back with Richard and Josh - it’s fast, funny and fiercely competitive, and all without the use of meldonium.’

Alan Tyler, the acting controller of BBC entertainment commissioning, added: ‘The first run brilliantly married humour and insight, and I’m looking forward to more of the same, with some inventive new twists.’
