Who is your favourite from Glasgow?

Voting has opened for the People's Choice award for the first heat of the 2016 Chortle Student Comedy Award.

This year, there will be a vote for the best contestant at each heat; then those 12 performers will be put to another poll for two places in the semi-finals.

Our first heat in Glasgow on Monday was won by James McIntosh, who is studying a masters in prototype product design at Edinburgh's Napier University.

Now take a look at the videos of the other performers, and vote for your favourite.

Polls run for three days, closing at 1pm on Sunday, then we'll put up the videos from the second heat, which has been held in St Andrews.

The third heat will take place at The Engine Shed in Lincoln on Sunday.
