Meet your heroes
Bec Hill is to host a new show about the heroes of DC comics.
DC Fancast will be released on Sky's on-demand service to accompany the superhero franchises it airs: The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl and new signing DC’s Legends of Tomorrow
The London-based Australian comic will co-host the show with regular E4 presenter Rick Edwards when it launches on March 3.
Sky says the pair will be 'joined by a live studio audience of superfans ready and raring to recap and unpick all the blistering events of the latest episodes' as well as behind-the-scenes features and preview clips.
Hill has long been a fan of the genre, with her first solo stand-up show entitled, If You Can Read This, My Cape Fell Off, about her love of superheroes.
Hill posted the news on Facebook, adding: 'You know how I went to Vancouver a few weeks ago? It's because I was on the sets of The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow, interviewing all the cast and crew! I have some AMAZING photos, but I can't share them until the show goes live in March.
'I'm really happy and excited and love the team and thank you everyone for being so patient! I hope you share my joy.'
Sky's new purchase, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, is about time-travelling rogue Rip Hunter, played by Arthur Darrell, who must pull together a disparate group of Heroes and Villains to save the world from the threat posed by tyrant Vandal Savage. It, too, will launch on March 3.
