Romesh joins Question Time panel
Romesh Ranganathan is to appear as a panellist on next week's Question Time. He follows a string of comedians on to the BBC One show, including Grainne Maguire, whose attack on Northern Ireland's 'state-sanctioned homophobia' in banning same-sex marriage went viral after her appearance a fortnight ago. Host David Dimbleby said on last night's programme that the political guests had not yet been confirmed for the next episode. Ranganathan this week announced a slew of new tour dates for the autumn.
CHANNEL 4 has ordered a 90-minute special called How Rom Coms Ruled Our World featuring clips from the likes of When Harry Met Sally, Four Weddings And A Funeral and this year's latest film in the Bridget Jones franchise.

ENTRIES have opened for this year's So You Think You're Funny? new act competition. It is open to anyone over 18 who has not performed stand-up regularly before June 1 last year and who has at least eight minutes of original material. THE new sketch comedy series from Lonely Island trio Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone will launch on America's Fox network on March 12. The late-night half-hour show is entitled Party Over Here.
