Jimmy Carr's Netflix special gets a release date
Jimmy Carr’s Netflix special is to be released on March 18, the streaming giant has announced.
He is the first British comic to have made an original stand-up show for the internet broadcaster, with his Funny Business tour recorded at the Hammersmith Apollo in November.
The deal meant he did not release his annual DVD before Christmas, selling the rights to Netflix instead.
Release dates of other exclusive stand-up specials have also been announced.
Hannibal Buress’s Comedy Camisado will be out on February 5, controversial comic Theo Von’s No Offense on February 26, and Patton Oswalt’s Talking for Clapping on April 22.
Yesterday, Netflix also announced the second series of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will be launched on April 15; and Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin's comedy Grace and Frankie will return on May 6.
