R4 recommissions Simon Evans Goes To Market
Radio 4 has commissioned a third series of the comedy economics show Simon Evans Go To Market.
It will return in the summer with four episodes in which the stand-up will examine the business of births, deaths, marriage and one other topic yet to be decided.
The comic tweeted this afternoon that: ‘Suggestions for fourth plinth welcome’.
In the first series, which aired in 2014, Evans examined gold, land, oil and grain; and in the second last year looked at coffee, alcohol, tobacco and sugar.
He is about to embark on a new tour that also looks at the economics of life, entitled In The Money. It kicks off in Banbury on January 29, and runs through to Cambridge in June. Dates..
