Stan is no hoverboardman
STAN BOARDMAN is recovering from a broken wrist after falling off his grandson's 'hoverboard' on Boxing Day. The 78-year-old's tumble was even caught on camera. His daughter Andrea said: 'The whole family were watching when he fell off. It was his first time trying it, and you can actually hear the wrist breaking in the video.'

BILL COSBY has said 'thank you' to 'friends and fans' in a Twitter post after being charged for the first time over allegations of sexual abuse. Dozens of women have accused the comic of sexual assault, dating back to the 1970s, but he has strenuously denied them all. He is currently on $1million bail awaiting a court hearing over an alleged 2004 incident.

Michael McIntyre has retaken his position as No1 in the stand-up DVD chart, with his Happy & Glorious show switching places with Kevin Bridges's A Whole Different Story in the top two positions.ESSHAN AKBAR won the Piccadilly Comedy Club New Comedian of the Year title in London last night, taking home £200. Second place went to Darren Harriott and Gabriel Ebulue took bronze.
