Scheiffer Bates makes E4 pilot

E4 has signed up a YouTube star – for yet another prank show.

Scheiffer Bates attracted more than 1.5million views for his video Guy Does Awesome Impressions In Just Over 5 minutes.

Now he will make a 30-minute pilot, provisionally titled Scheiffer Bates: I Con, trade website BroadcastNow reports.

His impressions online range from Bear Grylls to Andy Parsons, and he as racked up almost 50,000 subscribers over the past five years.

'Scheiffer has an incredible talent and we can't wait to unleash him and his unbelievable "celebrity" pranks on the great British public,' said Emma Hardy, managing director of programme-makers Princess.

Today Channel 4 also announced a new spoof news programme fronted by Kayvan Novak which will also feature hidden camera pranks; while Bad Robots recently finished its run on E4.

Meanwhile ITV2 is currently airing hidden camera sketch show Glitchy and this week aired the pilot of Pranksterz.
