Blaps away!
Channel 4 has released two more Comedy Blaps.
The first High & Dry, a spoof of Lost in which a plane bound for Britain crashes at sea, washing the survivors up on a Pacific island.
It is written by Marc Wooton, the creator of comedy pysychic Shirley Ghostman, who stars as sociopath Australian air steward Brett Sullivan.
Harry Peacock – who plays Toast of London's rival Ray Purchase – costars as Douglas alongside People Just Do Nothing's Asim Chaudhry and comedian Jessie Cave.
It has been made by Baby Cow, producers of Moone Boy, Uncle and The Trip, among others.
The other is is Top 5 Celebrity Splits, a fake talking-heads rundown featuring poor impressions of the likes of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.
The show stars Rose Johnson, Luke Kempner, Rich Bond, Luke Manning, Beattie Edmondson, Camille Ucan. Written by Tim Allsop, Stewart Williams and Lee Hupfield, it was made by Peep Show producers Objective.
Comedy Blaps are Channel 4's online pilots that have previously featured films from The Rubberbandits, Nick Helm and Sam Simmons, among others.
E4 has so far picked up two series based on Blaps, Michaela Coel's forthcoming Chewing Gum, and Bad Robots, the hidden camera show featuring malfunctioning technology.
