Lee Nelson creator pranks Sepp Blatter
Lee Nelson creator Simon Brodkin has gatecrashed another high-profile ever: A Fifa press conference.
The comedian managed to bypass security and shower president Sepp Blatter with fake banknotes.
In the guise of his footballer alter-ego Jason Bent, Brodkin said: ‘Sepp, this is for North Korea in 2026’ before being led away by security.
The Fifa boss is visibly furious at the stunt, and before he leaves the room Brodkin yells: ‘Cheers, Sepp - it's all there’
Blatter was holding the conference to to announce reforms planned to world football's governing body, as it is consumed by claims of corruption surrounding the awarding of the World Cup to Qatar.
The stunt comes only weeks after Brodkin gatecrashed Kanye West's headlining set at Glastonbury.
Last year he attempted to join the England World Cup squad as they flew from Luton Airport , and was previously arrested at a Premier League game after invading the pitch and warming up with Manchester City.
