ITV picks up Jason Manford's Funny Old Week

A tight 5: April 15

Jason Manford's topical show It's A Funny Old Week has been picked up by ITV. The commission, for a run of episodes on Monday nights this summer, follows three end-of-year specials and two unaired pilots. The last New Year's Eve show attracted 2.25 million viewers.

NETFLIX has ordered a fourth series of Orange Is The New Black, to air next year. The news comes ahead of the release of season three on June 12. Here's a clip from one of the new episodes:

STAND-UP Bennett Arron is to make a four-part stand-up series for BBC Radio Wales based on his solo show Jewelsh. Two episodes will be recorded in Cardiff next month to air on July 25 and August 1; with another two set for next year. He said: 'It's my first ever series, so I'm pretty pleased about it'. HOLLYOAKS actor Joe Tracini is to star in the Spamalot tour – alongside his father Joe Pasquale. It will be the first time the pair have worked together on stage, when the soap star takes the role of Patsy from May 11.

ENTRIES have opened for his year's You Must Be Joking new act competition run by the Corn Exchange in Newbury, Berkshire.
