Arrested Development will be back

17 more episodes in the pipeline'

Arrested Development is to return for a fifth series.

Executive producer Brian Grazer has said that another 17 episode of Bluth family shenanigans are in the pipeline.

In an interview on Bill Simmons' podcast, The BS Report, at the SXSW Festival, Grazer said: ‘People are loyal to it, and we're gonna do another 17 episodes. So stay tuned for Arrested Development.’

The fourth season was streamed on Netflix in 2013, after the Fox network cancelled the show seven years before.

- The streaming service has not confirmed the comeback, although last summer chief content officer Ted Sarandos said it was ‘just a matter of when’ the series would return.

Nor has it been announced whether the full cast, including Jason Bateman, David Cross, Jeffrey Tambor and Will Arnett, will return.
