Broadcast Award nominees unveiled
The comedy shows nominated for the 2015 Broadcast Awards have been announced.
Up for best comedy programme are Harry And Paul’s Story Of The Twos, Him And Her: The Wedding, Rev. series 3, The Wrong Mans, Toast of London and Uncle.
Uncle and Him And Her, both BBC Three programmes, are also shortlisted for best multichannel programme alongside the E4 comedy Drifters and the drama series Mr. Sloane, (Sky Atlantic), My Mad Fat Diary (E4) and Glue (E4)
And in the entertainment category, the nominees are 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, A League Of Their Own, Ant And Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, The Graham Norton Show, and The Last Leg.
Comedy shows also have a shot at the award for best original programme with Dave’s storytelling show Crackanory and Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith’s Inside No. 9 among the nominees.
Comedians also feature in the shows shortlisted in the children’s category, which include the adaptation of David Walliams’s Gangsta Granny and Strange Hill High, the animated comedy-mystery series featuring the voices of Caroline Aherne, Emma Kennedy, Doc Brown, Richard Ayoade and John Thomson.
The Broadcast Awards take place on February 4.
