Kevin Bridges has announced the first dates of his 2015 tour, A Whole Different Story, with gigs in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Belfast and the Hammersmith Apollo scheduled for next autumn. The shows at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow will be recorded for a future DVD release. Early tickets go on sale tomorrow, Dates.

VEEP star Julia Louis-Dreyfus is to be honoured by Bafta in Los Angeles later this month. She will receive the Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award for Excellence in Comedy at an event hosted by Rob Brydon. Previous winners include Robert Downey Jr, Mike Leigh and Judi Dench.

BILL BURR is piloting his own comedy show for America's FX Networks. In Pariah, he plays a short-tempered TV personality forced back into normal life after an on-air meltdown. Burr, who appeared in Breaking Bad, also has an hour-long stand-up special premiering on Netflix in December called I’m Sorry You Feel That Way.

SUSAN CALMAN has been named as an ambassador for the Target Ovarian Cancer charity – which she was introduced to after appearing in the Loving Linda benefit in memory of Linda Smith.
