Lawyer's fear after road accident

Tracy Morgan may never perform comedy again following the major car crash that claimed the life of his friend in June.

The comedian's lawyer, Benedict Morelli, said that the 30 Rock star suffered a debilitating brain injury in the accident on the New Jersey Turnpike.

The attorney told the New York Post that almost four moths after the six-vehicle crash that Morgan is still undergoing extensive rehab treatments, including speech, cognitive, vocational, and physical therapies.

When asked if Morgan will be able to perform again, Morelli replied: 'The jury’s still out. The doctors don’t know the answer. I don’t know the answer.'

Morgan has also hit back at claims from Walmart – whose truck caused the crash – that his failure to wear a seatbelt exacerbated his injuries. He said: 'I can’t believe Walmart is blaming me for an accident that they caused,' adding: 'I’m fighting hard every day to get back.'

The accident occurred when, towards the end of a long shift, the driver of a Walmart truck failed to observe slow moving traffic ahead of him.

Morella said of Walmart: 'These people are despicable... They’re good blame shifters. I guess that’s how they make $783 billion a year.'
