Dylan Moran announces 2015 tour
Dylan Moran and Lee Nelson have announced tours for next year.
Black Books star Moran will play 54 dates in March, April and May next year in a tour entitled Off The Hook.
What will be his first tour since Yeah, Yeah in 2011/12 starts in Dundee on March 4 – culminating in two nights at both The Forum at the Hammersmith Apollo in London.
However it also takes in smaller venues from Mareel in Lerwick in the Shetlands, down to Alderney Theatre in the Channel islands.
He has recently followed Eddie Izzard's lead in opening up global markets for stand-up, and in 2012 became the first Irish stand-up ever to perform in Russia. He's also took the same tour to Estonia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Ukraine, Switzerland and Holland.
Famed for his role in Black Books, Moran was this year seen in the movie Calvary.
Tickets for Off The Hook go on sale at 10am tomorrow. Click here for full schedule and ticket links for Dylan Moran's tour.
Meanwhile 'pre-sale' tickets have been released for 37 Lee Nelson dates in the spring.
The tour is called Suited And Booted and sees Simon Brodkin's 'chav' alter-ego ditch his baseball cap and sportswear for a smarter look.
It kicks off in Tunbridge Wells on April 1, and all the gigs except one – Glenrothes – are in England. A couple of work-in progress shows have also been announced.
