Harry Hill settles his legal FIIIIGHT!
Harry Hill has settled a legal dispute with his former agents Avalon.
The comic split from the company in 2011, reportedly over their desire to make more episodes of TV Burp which he found too demanding. As well as representing him for 19 years, Avalon also produced the hit ITV series.
Last year he started legal action against them, claiming they owed him money from his work on the show.
But Avalon then counter-sued in September, saying they were owed commission of £105,435 for You've Been Framed plus money from a voiceover for Green Flag insurance, Sky's Little Crackers TV show, book deals, and the flop X-Factor musical I Can't Sing!
Avalon were also claiming for damages and interest, the Daily Mirror reports.
In a joint statement, Harry and Avalon said they were 'pleased the claims between us are resolved'.
It said: 'All financial sums due to each of us have been paid and we have a clear agreement about financial payments due to each in the future.
'As part of the settlement, all allegations made in the course of the dispute are specifically withdrawn. This resolves all artistic and financial differences between us and all claims are settled.'
Hill previously said: 'TV Burp took over your life. It was a mix of extreme boredom and stress. Runs lasted 26 weeks. They never let me do just eight shows. If so I could have gone on till they carried me off.'
He has recently been appearing unannounced in small London comedy clubs, working on new material.
