John Cleese voices new Python game

Monty Python have released a mobile phone game based on The Ministry of Silly Walks.

Players must guide John Cleese's high-stepping character through the streets of London, collecting coins, avoiding obstacles and earning enough credits for new, silly suits.

The official game, made by Boondoggle Studios, features the voice of Cleese himself berating players with putdowns such as 'Well, that was just embarrassing' when they come a cropper.

It's available from the Apple app store or Google Play, priced 99p

Entertainingly, the first user review on iTunes begins: 'I wish to register a complaint...'

The release comes ahead of the troupe's ten-day farewell run at the O2 Arena in London, which kicks off next Tueday,
