Limmy signs book deal

Anthology out in 2015

Comedian Limmy is to write his first book.

The comic, real name Brian Limond, has signed a deal with publisher Century to pen an 'inventive and funny' book, entitled Daft Wee Stories.

The anthology will be a mix of anecdotes, thoughts and tales short and long, 'some with illustrations, and some the size of a tweet sitting in the centre of the page'.

Century editorial director Jack Fogg said: 'Limmy has one of the most original, thoughtful and brilliant comic minds I’ve encountered. He can flip from side-splittingly funny to genuinely profound in the space of a paragraph.

'I’m sure that with Daft Wee Stories, we’re seeing the start of what will become a very exciting and unique writing career.'

Daft Wee Stories will be published as a hardback in July next year, with a paperback edition out the following year.
