London Palladium date in July

Chelsea Handler has announced her first ever UK date – at the London Palladium.

The US comic, and host of her own late-night talk show, will be bringing her stand-up show Uganda Be Kidding Me to the 2,300-seat venue on July 12.

Her live show, which has been touring the States since February, is based on her book of the same name – a spoof foreign travel guide.

Hander has previously announced that her E! show Chelsea Lately will end at the end of the year, and is said to be in talks with Netflix about her next project.

But her live work remains lucrative. In 2010 she hit the road with the Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang tour, which grossed more than $16 million and played to 250,000 fans.

Tickets for her London date go on sale on Friday.
