Headline role as a drunk lawyer

Nick Frost is set to star in his first American sitcom.

The World’s End and Cuban Fury star has signed up for the pilot episode of the Fox comedy Sober Companion.

He is to play an ambitious, but drink-addicted lawyer, who is given a court-appointed guardian to take control of his life for 90 days to put him on the straight and narrow.

The sober companion will be played by Justin Long, whose credits include Jeepers Creepers, Galaxy Quest and Dodgeball

The show us written and run by by David S. Rosenthal and Jennie Snyder Urman, who previously worked together on 90210.
