THE cast of Goodness Gracious Me are to reunite as part of the celebratons of50 years of comedy on BBC, The team will film new versions of original sketches plus new material for the show, which is being recorded later this month.

RUSSELL BRAND has cancelled his Messiah Complex show at Warwick Arts Centre in Coventry tonight and in Derby on Friday, citing a family illness. The Derby show has been rescheduked to April 14, the Coventry one for April 19.

SKY LIVING has commissioned a fourth series of its comedy-drama Mount Pleasant. Sally Lindsay and Daniel Ryan will return in the lead roles of a couple who are just about to have their first baby. The returnign cast also includes Nigel Harman, Adrian Bower, Neil Fitzmaurice and James Dreyfus.

FRANKIE BOYLE's 'depraved farce' Blocked, which we reported on yesterday will air on Radio 4 on June 5. It marks his first return to the BBC since he left Mock The Week in 2009.
