Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith's new comedy Inside No. 9 launched on BBC Two last night with an audience of 1.06 million – or 5.6 per cent share of the total audience at 10pm. It's marginally down on the slot average.

CHARLIE BROOKER's detective spoof A Touch Of Cloth was named best comedy at the Broadcast Awards last night, ahead of fellow nominees Chickens, Derek, Psychobitches, Plebs and Some Girls.

EDINBURGH Fringe sensation The Wrestling is to be exported to Australia. Double-act Max And Ivan – the brains behind the mix of pro-wrestlers and comedians – are to stage a version of the award-winning show in Melbourne on April 14, as part of the city's comedy festival.

NBC has pulled the show about his experiences with Parkinson's from the schedules, with seven of the 22 episodes yet to air. The comedy struggled to find an audience, with the most recent episode attracting just 2.2 million viewers.
