New biography of classic sitcom

Comedy biographer Graham McCann is writing a new history of Yes, Minister.

Publisher Arum has acquired the worldwide rights to release A Very Courageous Decision: The Inside Story Of Yes, Minister this autumn.

McCann has previously written about Morecambe and Wise, Dad's Army and Only Fools and Horses, among others.

This new book promises to 'explore the real-world Whitehall intrigues, as well as the astonishing coming-together of writing and acting talent, behind one of the most fondly remembered and influential television comedies of all time'.
