RICKY GERVAIS is set to reprise his role as Dr. McPhee in Night At The Museum 3, Hollywood website Deadline reports. Also returning for the sequel, due out in Christmas 2014, are Ben Stiller and Robin Williams. Gervais will next be seen in Muppets Most Wanted.

HIM AND HER came to an end on BBC Three last night, attracting an audience of 564,000 –well up on its fourth-series average and the comedy’s highest rating since November 2011.

AGENTS Off The Kerb have signed stand-up Romesh Ranganathan, after he has starred on Channel 4’s Stand Up For The Week for the past two months. The show is made by their sister company Open Mic, and ends its fifth series tonight.

THE KUMARS is to make its comeback on Sky 1 on January 15, it has been announced. Guests on the first programme will be Daniel Radcliffe, Chevy Chase and Olivia Colman.

SCOTTISH comedians are playing a charity football march on Sunday in aid of the appeal for victims of the Clutha helicopter crash. Fred MacAulay, Janey Godley, Des McLean and Bruce Morton are among those taking part in the sold-out match at Toryglen Regional Football Centre in Glasgow.
