Desperately seeking Micky
Micky Flanagan has topped a chart of comedians whose tickets were most sought-after in 2013.
The comic, whose mammoth Back In The Game tour included seven nights at London's O2 Arena, was No 1 on the list of comedian searches on the Ticketmaster website.
He was followed by Lee Evans, who was not on tour in 2013, but stars in the West End comedy Barking In Essex. However his Monsters tour begins in August 2014.
There was no place in the chart for Monty Python, whose announcement of reunion gigs came too late in the year to make an impact. But the Still Game team came in No 8, after announcing a 10-show residency at the SSE Hydro Arena in Glasgow next autumn.
Micky Flanagan’s manager Christian Knowles said: 'It's fantastic news he's the number 1 comic, we're delighted that Micky's talent and hard work has been rewarded.'
