Roseanne slams sitcom 'joke thief'

Rage at Two And A Half Men creator

Roseanne Barr has accused the writers of Two And A Half Men of stealing her jokes.

In a series of angry tweets last night, the comic accused creator Chuck Lorre and star Ashton Kutcherof exploiting comedians' work to make a fortune.

She posted: 'Chuck Lorre has made MILLIONS - hundreds of millions - YET - he STEALS COMEDIAN'S WRITING - helps himself 2 STEAL other ppl's work w no guilt.'

A few moments later she tweeted: 'Chuck Lorre will do anything 2 make a $ - like, seal, cheat, rip off comics ideas, reuse already overused premises 2 entertain moronic droolers.'

She specifically questioned a line sai Kutcher's Walden Schmidt said about being 91: 'I'd imagine that you're wet in the places you used to be dry, and dry in the places you used to be wet.'

Barr used an almost identical line in her 2006 HBO stand-up special when she was talking about the menopause.

She tweeted: 'Asshole kuchner is stealing my "wet where i'm supposed to be dry" joke... motherfucking thief.'

In a long string of furious tweets, Barr also urged other comics to see if jokes were stolen and urged copyright lawyers to come and fight her cause.

Neither Lorre - who also created Big Bang Theory - or the CBS network that aits the series have yet commented publically.

However, several hours after her diatribe, Barr seemed to soften her tone considerably, adding: 'Chuck Lorre has a great sense of humor about himself... I forgive Ashton and Chuck! It's prob one of their writer's fault!'

Lorre used to be a writer on Roseanne's self-titled sitcom, but she said she fired him because, she claimed, he drank too much.
