R4 shares Calman's convcition
Susan Calman has been given a second series of her Radio 4 stand-up show Calman Is Convicted.
The show is also being promoted to the prime-time 6.30pm slot, after the first four episodes – which aired in February and March – went out at 11pm.
On Twitter, the Glasgow-born comedian said she was ‘utterly delighted’ by the news, adding: ‘Hurrah!’
In the show, Calman explores topics on which she had strong opinions – which have so far been gay marriage, the death penalty, depression and national pride. She said: ‘I wanted to write about things that mattered to me rather than just fluff.’
