Serafinowicz to helm movie about a comedian
Peter Serafinowicz is to make his debut as a film director, with a film about a comedian that he co-wrote with Danny Wallace.
I See What You Did There will revolve around a stand-up who kills a heckler, in a act witnessed by his number one fan.
The pair are finishing the script now, according to movie website Twitch, before seeking financing for a hoped-for 2014 shoot.
Serafinowicz – star of his own BBC Two sketch show – has cut his teeth directing music videos for the likes of Hot Chip and Daft Punk; while Wallace’s book Yes Man was made into a 2008 Hollywood movie starring Jim Carrey.
