BBC Scotland goes for comedy on New Year's Eve
BBC Scotland is to welcome in the New Year with a comedy panel show inspired by the 60th anniversary of television in Scotland.
Fred MacAulay will host the two-part panel show Scots On The Box, which will feature Ronni Ancona, Sanjeev Kholi, Susan Calman and Mark Nelson, among others.
It will go out on BBC One north of the border on New Year’s Eve.
Meanwhile, Ford Kiernan will celebrate Scottish comic The Dandy, as it closes its print operation to go online-only. In the BBC Scotland show Just Dandy, the Still Game comic will meet the artists and writers as well as fans, including Frank Skinner.
Also on Hogmanay, Jonathan Watson will host the football comedy show Only An Excuse?
