Mrs Brown slips down DVD charts

As McIntyre takes the comedy No 1 slot

Michael McIntyre outsold Mrs Brown’s Boys last week, to take No 1 in the new live comedy DVD charts.

However, they have both slipped down the overall video chart, thanks to new film releases including Ted, Brave and The Amazing Spiderman.

In their third week of release, McIntyre’s Showtime DVD is No 6 in the overall chart, two places above Good Mourning Mrs Brown.

Otherwise, there is little movement in the top ten DVD sellers in comedy this week, with the highest new entry Al Murray’s Only Way Is Epic disc at No 13.

The Top Ten are:

  1. Michael McIntyre: Showtime (2)
  2. Mrs Brown Live: Good Mourning Mrs Brown (1)
  3. Peter Kay: Live & Back On Nights (3)
  4. Kevin Bridges: The Story Continues (5)
  5. John Bishop: Rollercoaster (4)
  6. Sarah Millican: Thoroughly Modern Millican (6)
  7. Jack Whitehall Live (8)
  8. Frankie Boyle: The Last Days Of Sodom (7)
  9. Rhod Gilbert: The Man With The Flaming Battenberg Tattoo (9)
  10. Jon Richardson: Funny Magnet (10)
