Jason Manford to host review of 2012

New Year's Eve ITV show

Jason Manford is to host a prime-time review of the year for ITV.

2012: A Funny Old Year – which also features ‘an all-star cast of stand-up comics’ – is earmarked for a key 9pm slot after Coronation Street on New Year’s Eve.

It comes more than a month after the BBC’s two-part comic round-up of the year, hosted by John Bishop, started on Friday. The show attracted 3million viewers to BBC One in its 9.30pm slot – well below the 4.8m average for the slot.

Manford is recording his show in front of a live studio audience in London on December 18. See our free tickets page to be in the audience.
