America cops another Britcom remake

ABC to pilot Feel The Force

Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence is making a pilot edition of the show, his fourth project in development of US broadcasters this season.

ABC has signed a so-called ‘put pilot’ commission from Lawrence – which means they will have to pay substantial penalties if the pilot is not aired. He will be writing the script for the remake.
