It's a jungle out there...
Stand-up Rob Beckett has got a big break – hosting the next series of I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here Now!
The comic replaces Russell Kane on the ITV2 spin-off show, commenting on each day’s events in the Australian jungle.
Beckett – who has been supporting Kane on his current UK tour – will join fellow hosts Laura Whitmore and Joe Swash.
On his website, Beckett – who has been supporting Kane on his current UK tour – wrote: ‘I am delighted to announce that I will be taking over from Russell Kane as the new resident comedian/co-host of I’m a Celebrity Get me Out of Here Now on ITV2.
‘I will be doing 21 shows from November 11, straight after the main show on ITV1.’
‘I’m so excited as I love the show and Laura Whitmore and Joe Swash are brilliant so I can’t wait to get out there.’
The celebrities taking part in this year’s show have not yet been announced.
Beckett has only been performing comedy for three years; becoming a finalist in new act hunt So You Think You're Funny in 2010 and making his Edinburgh debut this year.
