Hound's out of Juice
Rufus Hound has confirmed that he has left Keith Lemon's Celebrity Juice.
He had been a regular on the ITV2 show for more than three years and almost 60 episdes – but was absent from the second half of the just-completed seventh series.
He told the Digital Spy website: ‘I’m done. I’m not on that show any more.
When asked whether he would ever return, he said : ‘Frankly I think that’s unlikely.’
He added: ‘Celebrity Juice is the Keith Lemon show, isn't it? So as long as Keith's there most people are getting everything they want from it. So onwards and upwards for them.’
And when his followers on Twitter asked why he wasn’t on the show any more, Hound replied: ‘You’d have to ask them.’
Meanwhile, Hound is preparing to make his theatrical debut next month, in a play called Utopia at London’s Soho Theatre. It is a collaborative piece written by nine new playwrights as diverse as Dylan Moran and Newcastle MP Chi Onwurah.
It is described as ‘an unconventional medley of visions that will leave the audience questioning our present and leaving hopeful for our future’.
