BBC Three orders documentary

BBC Three has ordered a documentary from comedian Jeff Leach as part of a new sex season.

In Am I A Sex Addict?, the comic will meet women who know him well to see if he can mend his philandering ways.

The show will air early next year as part of a run of hour-long films about sex and sexuality variously fronted by a scientist, a historian, a virgin, a lap-dancer and a Hollyoaks star.

It will not be the first sex-themed documentary for Leach. The comic, best known for his appearances on The National Lottery on BBC One, has made a film called Male Hookers Uncovered, which will air on Current TV on November 28.

For that programme, Leach – described as ‘a self-confessed “male whore” who loves women and sex’ – joined the male escort industry to experience the reality of what seemed like a perfect job.
