Rita Rudner comes to UK

Six London dates this summer

Rita Rudner is bringing her one-woman show to London for the first time in more than 15 years.

She is playing eight dates in the capital’s 400-seat Leicester Square Theatre from June 30, with tickets costing up to £55

The intimate venue is a far cry from her usual residency, at The Venetian in Las Vegas, where she has sold more than 1million tickets and grossed more than $70million in the past decade to make her the city’s most successful female comedian. Hers is the longest-running solo show in town, and she gas been voted best comedian in Las Vegas nine years in a row.

Rudner says: ‘I haven't been to London forever. The last time I was there, Prince William had hair. I'm really looking forward to seeing all my English friends, especially the ones who owe me money.’

The 57-year old has a career spanning 40 years, starting off as a dancer before turning to stand-up in 1980.
