John Bishop DVD remains atop charts

John Bishop has the bestselling stand-up DVD for the second week running.

Although he slipped two places down the overall chart to No 8, his debut title Elvis Has Left The Building is still the top-selling comedian in a week which saw at least a dozen new live titles hit the shelves.

Among them was Kevin Bridges , whose own debut DVD is the week’s second bestselling stand-up title, and No 14 among all discs. Ricky Gervais and Lee Mack also have new entries in the Top 40.

The official stand-up charts, with last week’s position in brackets is

Meanwhile, Michael McIntyre's memoirs Life & Laughing retain their place at the top of the Sunday Times hardback bestsellers list, with more than 142,000 copies shifted so far.
