Joanna Page's new job

Gavin & Stacey star Joanna Page is being lined up to host a new panel show for BBC Three.

She is in talks to present a pilot edition of 10 Things You Don’t Know About Your Mum, which pitches a pair of young adult siblings against their parents

Comics Jack Whitehall and Micky Flanagan are similarly being lined up as the team captains on the pilot, which will not be broadcast, although no deals have yet been signed.

The show promises ‘hilarious and embarrassing rounds’ and adult humour as the contestants ‘air the family’s dirty laundry’. The teenager will have to keep secrets from Mum and Dad, who in turn have to hide their past.

A pilot episode is to be made next month by Twenty Twenty Television, whose previous credits include Brat Camp and World’s Strictest Parents.

If she lands the job, Page will be following in the footsteps of her Gavin & Stacey co-star James Corden in turning panel-show host, as he chairs Sky One's A League Of Their Own.
