Lee Evans to tour again

50-night stadium run announced

Tickets have gone on sale for Lee Evans's next mammoth stadium tour – with 50 dates lined up for 2011.

His Roadrunner tour will kick off in Bournemouth next August, running until mid-November in Cardiff.

It visits most of Britain’s major cities, plus one night in Dublin, and includes four nights in Wembley Arena and four in the O2 Arena, meaning around 100,000 seats in London alone.

Producers Off The Kerb say: ‘Lee will be playing to more fans than ever on this record-breaking tour of the UK and Ireland.’

This will be Evans’s first tour since Big in 2008, when he sold out the London O2 in 60 minutes. The DVD of that show sold 259,399 copies in its first week – and still holds the record for the biggest opening week’s sales for any non-movie DVD.
